Aleksandar Radosavljevic happy with draw against Italy but expects more: ‘We will have to improve certain things’

, the Italian and Slovenian national cadet teams played the first of two August friendlies in Gradišče ob Soči yesterday. Aleksandar Radosavljevic led his side to a 1-1 draw, with Tais Šabotić scoring the only goal for Slovenia.

. After the match, the Slovenian selector stressed that he was satisfied with what he saw, but he still expects his players to show an even better face on Thursday, when the second match in Ajdovščina starts at 10.30.
Slovenia started their first friendly match with the following line-up: Žnudrl; Meško, Petrovič, Kerin, Drobnič, Jurgec, Šabotić, Viher, Durmiši, Šunta, Aćimović.
“We can be very satisfied with the results. I have to stress that the players did their best in the meeting. However, we will need to improve certain things. I expect us to be more concrete in the second match tomorrow, because Italy have shown themselves to be a very good team,“, Aleksandar Radosavljevic, the selector of the Slovenian Football Federation, told the website of the Football Association of Slovenia.
