The schedule of the Conference League group stage matches is announced: Olimpija will play its first match of the competition in France

(UEFA) drew the groups for this year’s Conference League in Nyon, Switzerland, yesterday. The ball dance also featured
Olimpija
, which was drawn in Group A. In the latter, the Ljubljana team’ s opponents will be:
- Lille (France)
- Slovan Bratislava (Slovakia)
- KI Klaksvik (Faroe Islands)
The day after the draw, UEFA has already set the fixtures. Olimpija will play their first ever game in the Conference League group stage. It will be played on 20 September, when Olimpija will be away in France. The match with Lille will, interestingly enough, start at 16:30. Olimpija will play its first home game on 5 October, when Slovan Bratislava hosts Stožice. The match will start at 18:45.
In the third round, Joao Henriques ‘ squad will go on its longest away trip, visiting the Faroe Islands on 26 October. The match will also start there at 18:45. Round 4 will take place on 9. November, the Slovenian champion will host KI Klaksvik in Stožice, the game will start at 21. hours. Lille will be in Ljubljana on 30 November (kick-off at 18:45), while the group stage of the conference league will be completed in the Slovak capital. The Slovan – Olimpija match will kick off on 14 December at 21. hours.
